Organizing with Categories
Categories help you organize assets logically and generate meaningful reports.
Creating Categories
Navigate to the Categories page and click "Add Category" to create new categories. Choose a descriptive name and color for easy visual identification.
Recommended Categories
Common category structures:
- By Type: Electronics, Furniture, Vehicles, Equipment
- By Department: IT, HR, Operations, Sales
- By Value: High Value, Medium Value, Low Value

Managing Categories
You can edit or delete categories at any time. Assets in deleted categories will become uncategorized.
