Removing Assets
When you need to remove an asset from your system, follow these steps:
Delete Process
- Go to the Assets page
- Find the asset you want to delete
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm the deletion
⚠️ Important Warning
Deletion is permanent! Once an asset is deleted, it cannot be recovered. We recommend setting the asset status to "Retired" instead if you might need the historical record.
Alternative: Retire Assets
Instead of deleting, you can:
- Change the status to "Retired"
- Keep the asset in reports
- Maintain historical data
- Filter retired assets in your view
