Barcode Generation
TrackMyAssets can automatically generate unique barcodes for all your assets.
Auto-Generation
When creating a new asset, the system can automatically generate a barcode:
- Select "Generate New Barcode" when adding an asset
- Choose QR Code or Code 128 format
- The system creates a unique identifier
- Barcode is immediately assigned to your asset
Barcode Format
Generated barcodes follow the format: ASSET-[6-digit ID]
Example: ASSET-000123
Bulk Generation
Generate multiple barcodes at once:
- Go to Barcodes page
- Click "Generate Barcodes"
- Specify quantity
- Print or assign later
