TrackMyAssets supports two types of barcodes to help you track your assets:
QR Codes (2D Barcodes)
QR codes are square, two-dimensional barcodes that can store more information than traditional barcodes.

Code 128 (1D Barcodes)
Code 128 is a linear barcode format that's been industry standard for decades.
Benefits:
- Widely supported
- Compact size
- Fast scanning
- Works with basic barcode scanners
Which Should I Use?
We recommend QR codes for most situations because they're easier to scan with mobile devices and can store more information. Use Code 128 if you have specific compatibility requirements.
